Where are you based?

Military Lane Auctions is based in the Bayside area of Melbourne, Australia.

When is the Auction?

The Military Lane Auction A.01 is to be held on Saturday 8th March 2025 and will be live online for two weeks prior, starting Sat 22nd February. Make sure that you subscribe on the Military Lane website for any auction updates.

How can I Bid?

If you go to the www.militarylane.com.au website and subscribe for auction updates, you will be notified when the is listed LIVE online. You then have the ability to bid live online, fill in and submit an ‘Absentee Postal Bidding Form’ or register at least 48 hours prior for live Telephone Bigging on the auction day.

Must my firearms go to an interstate Dealer?

Yes, all firearms marked ‘License Required’ in the description, will require dealer to dealer transfer. Because of this, you will be required to supply your ‘nominated dealer’ details, for Military Lane to ship to. It is up to the buyer to then organise a Permit to Acquire (PTA) and pick-up with that dealer.

Only firearms marked ‘No License Required’ are allowed to be shipped directly to the buyer.

How will I know if my bid is successful?

Your invoice will be sent on the following week of the auction, with all of the necessary information contained within the body of the covering email.

When will I receive the item(s) I have purchased:

Given the large volume of auction lots, we ask for buyers understanding with the time required to securely pack & ship their item. Shipments will be sent in the order of payment and paperwork being completed. Most items shall take between two to four weeks to be posted once payment is received.

What is required to place an item to auction?

We ask for a listing of your items, along with a basic condition report, images if possible, and an estimate of the amount/s you wish to achieve.

When does Military Lane accept auction submissions?

Ideally, as early as possible. To do your submissions justice regarding advertising, cataloguing, and necessary research, a minimum of 3 months prior to an auction is required.
